These are our delicious, minty superfood slices. They are made with seven different superfoods. I pretty much have one of these every day.
According to David Wolfe, in order for something to be called a “superfood” it has to have at least 12 nutritional benefits. Superfoods are both a food and a medicine. They are a class of the most potent, super concentrated and nutrient-rich foods on the planet.
David Wolfe says, superfoods have the ability to increase energy, improve overall health, boost the immune system, elevate serotonin production, enhance sexuality, cleanse and alkalizes the body, provide all our protein, vitamin, mineral, fatty acid, sugar and immune system requirements, and nourish us at the deepest level – they nourish the brain, bones, muscle, skin, hair, nails, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, reproductive system, pancreas, and immune system. They also correct imbalances.
For those of you interested in understanding more about these incredible supercharged, superfoods – I highly recommend you read David Wolfe’s book called “Superfoods”. He gives a very easy-to-read educational account of superfoods, dispels myths, gives recipes and introduces you to the benefits of the different superfoods.
I owe my improved health to being predominantly on a supercharged, raw eating plan.
